Basketball Recap: Five Straight Road Wins for Page

Page won the last time they faced Independence and things went their way on Friday too. The Page Patriots had just enough and edged out the Independence Eagles 44-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Page got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mia Hauptman out in front who went 5-for-8 to rack up 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Fox, who posted nine points and three steals.

Page's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Independence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.

Page has already played their next matchup, a 46-22 win against Summit on the 20th. Independence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
