Basketball Recap: Woodbury Wins Going Away Against Century

Woodbury won against Century last Sunday with 63 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Woodbury Royals greeted the New Year with with a 63-45 win over the Century Panthers. That's two games straight that the Royals have won by exactly 18 points.

Woodbury pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Century, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodbury will challenge Forest Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forest Lake will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Woodbury surely won't give up without a fight. As for Century, they will face off against New Prague at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. New Prague knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Century likes a good challenge.
