It was fun while it lasted, but Central Christian's undefeated season came to an end after seven games on Friday. They came up short against the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS, falling 40-17. The contest marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Trinity Christian School of Griffin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aubrey Spitzer, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cheyenne Parker, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Central Christian fell to 7-1. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Skipstone Academy the next time they take the court. Trinity Christian School of Griffin will head out to face Skipstone Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Central Christian will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
