Volleyball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oxbridge Academy lost against Cardinal Newman back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The ThunderWolves came up short against the Crusaders, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20, 25-18.

Katie Ross paced Oxbridge Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Ross got some help from Julia Fagan and her 13 assists. Natalie Sherry and Treasure Stein kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Oxbridge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Cardinal Newman, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

Coming up, Oxbridge Academy will challenge Sunset at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cardinal Newman, they will square off against Tournament Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
