Softball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mt. Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Central Knights, falling 21-0. If the Kilties were looking for revenge after losing 19-1 to the Knights when the teams met back in May of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Pleasant will face off against rival Hope at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Central is set to take on their familiar foe Central Falls at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
