Baseball Game Preview: Riverton Silverwolves vs. Herriman Mustangs

For the second straight game, Riverton will face off against Herriman. The Silverwolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games Riverton has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Riverton's win against Herriman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Silverwolves had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 8-7 on Tuesday. The Silverwolves haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Bryce Mounteer, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Gaige Woods, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run.

Herriman is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9. As for Riverton, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.
