Evansville Christian and Tecumseh squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Evansville Christian had to settle for second. They came up short against the Braves, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost three in a row.

Evansville Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Tecumseh, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-16-1 record this season.

Evansville Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tecumseh, they will face off against Northeast Dubois at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Braves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jeeps have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
