Bellflower won the last time they faced Cerritos and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Buccaneers blew past the Dons 26-6. The Buccaneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by 20 points or more this season.

Bellflower found their leader in freshman Kendyll Upshaw, who threw for 175 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 40 yards. Ta'Lia Johnson made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Bellflower didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kayla Williams and Johnson. Johnson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Bellflower's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3.
