Basketball Recap: Hill-Murray Takes a Loss

Hill-Murray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 72-39 loss at the hands of the Anoka Tornadoes. The match marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hill-Murray now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Anoka, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Hill-Murray will take on Simley in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Anoka, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Coon Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Anoka knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Coon Rapids likes a good challenge.
