Saraland hadn't done well against Spanish Fort recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Spartans blew past the Toros 10-3. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 20 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Saraland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-11-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Spanish Fort, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 39-12.
