Baseball Recap: Jimtown's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Jimtown couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Boone Grove Wolves on Saturday, falling 9-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Jimmies were not able to get on the board.

Jimtown moved to 22-8 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Boone Grove, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 24-5.

Jimtown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Boone Grove, they will square off against Westview on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolves 2.2, the Warriors 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
