It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Tinora ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Hicksville Aces 8-6. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Aces recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Zoe Billings made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched eight innings while giving up six earned runs off 11 hits. Billings was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, Madison Spangler was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Savannah Schroeder was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Tinora kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 6-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Tinora's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-13. As for Hicksville, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Tinora will venture away from home to challenge Ayersville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pilots have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Hicksville, they will head out to face off against Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
