Soccer Recap: Dundee-Crown Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dundee-Crown can now relate to. They came up short against the Barrington Fillies/Broncos on Friday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Dundee-Crown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 158th, while Barrington are ranked 18th).

Dundee-Crown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10-2. As for Barrington, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-1-2.

Dundee-Crown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Barrington, they will take on Mundelein at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
