Mountainburg proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 26) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Baptist Prep Eagles, sneaking past 27-25. For the Dragons, this counts as revenge for the 28-21 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Mountainburg's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Baptist Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
