Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marshall). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 97-41 victory over the Waterloo Pirates. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Pirates are ranked 477th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the sixth in a row for Marshall, bringing their record for this year to 10-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points per game. As for Waterloo, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
