Basketball Recap: White Station Takes a Loss

White Station was the 79-72 winner over Cordova when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 43-40 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Spartans have suffered against the Wolves since December 12, 2017.

White Station's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cordova, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

White Station will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. George's at 7:30 p.m. on December 9. As for Cordova, they will take on Memphis Business Academy in a tournament on Friday.
