Football Game Preview: Round Valley Elks vs. Valley Christian Trojans + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Kage Finch and Austin Schuder are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Round Valley Elks will challenge the Valley Christian Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Round Valley is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Round Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Crismon 42-0. Considering the Elks have won nine games by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Round Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jeffery Cochran and Joah Brown. Cochran is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Brown got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Valley Christian's game on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They took down Gilbert Christian 40-21.

Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Round Valley, their win bumped their record up to an identical 11-1.

Round Valley won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in November of 2020, slipping by Valley Christian 21-20. Do the Elks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
