West proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Tracy Bulldogs 3-2. The win was familiar territory for West, who have now won five contests in a row.

Hugo Haavapuu and Jordan Lujan scored all three of West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

West's victory bumped their record up to 10-2-3. As for Tracy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. West will take on rival Lodi at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tracy is set to challenge their familiar foe Kimball at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
