Baseball Recap: Westmoore Comes Up Short

Westmoore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Yukon Millers. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Millers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Westmoore now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Yukon, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Westmoore will square off against Mount St. Mary at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Yukon, they will welcome Norman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Yukon hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.
