They came up short against the Academic Magnet Raptors, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Phoenix's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Palmetto Scholars Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Academic Magnet, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Palmetto Scholars Academy will square off against Baptist Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palmetto Scholars Academy has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Academic Magnet, they will face off against Stall at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Academic Magnet's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Stall's offense will have their work cut out for them.
