The Sebastopol Bobcats are taking a road trip to take on the Eupora Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Sebastopol knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Eupora likes a good challenge.
Sebastopol's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over Leake County. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Savannah Crout was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.
In other batting news, Sebastopol got a massive performance out of Payton Chamblee, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. That's the most hits Chamblee has posted since back in May of 2025. Audrey Ferguson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Sebastopol kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Eupora's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Vardaman by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since March 25, 2025.
Sebastopol pushed their record up to 18-8 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Eupora, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-3.
Sebastopol came out on top in a nail-biter against Eupora in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, sneaking past 7-6. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
