Basketball Recap: Wapanucka Takes a Loss

Wapanucka lost against Moyers back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wapanucka Indians had to suffer through a 62-33 loss at the hands of the Moyers Tigers. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wapanucka's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Moyers, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Wapanucka has already played their next contest, a 39-17 loss against Achille on the 17th. As for Moyers, they are taking a road trip to take on Eagletown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moyers knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Eagletown likes a good challenge.
