Basketball Game Preview: Rockdale County Bulldogs vs. Grayson Rams

Rockdale County hasn't had much luck against Grayson recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rockdale County Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Grayson Rams at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Rockdale County took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They skirted past South Gwinnett 69-67. The win was all the more spectacular given the Bulldogs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Comets are ranked 30th).

Meanwhile, Grayson came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 58-46 victory over the Rams.

Grayson pushed their record up to 22-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Rockdale County, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.

Rockdale County was taken down by Grayson 83-38 in their previous meeting back in January. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Rockdale County was down 44-16.
