Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bonney Lake). They blew past the Spanaway Lake Sentinels 12-3 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 last Tuesday.

Gavin Jennings and Lucas Miller dominated on the mound. Jennings tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits, while Miller tossed two innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs but no hits.

At the plate, Bonney Lake got a massive performance out of Jayden Ortiz-Ruiz, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Sexton, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Bonney Lake always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .727. The last time their OBP was this high was was before the start of last season.

Bonney Lake has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for Spanaway Lake, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
