Soccer Game Preview: Indian River vs. Norcom

The Indian River Braves will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Norcom Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Indian River is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Phoebus on Thursday. Indian River fell 2-0 to Phoebus. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Norcom kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of Churchland by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their meetings with the Truckers: they've now lost nine in a row.
