Memphis Home Education Association can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 46-24 margin over the Brighton Cardinals. Memphis Home Education Association's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Brighton had strong showings from Akayvia Joshua, who posted seven points and four steals, and Paityn Meacham, who earned seven points and five steals.

Memphis Home Education Association's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Brighton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Memphis Home Education Association will take on St. Agnes Academy in a holiday battle at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brighton, they will be taking part in a tournament against Obion County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
