Baseball Recap: Arroyo Valley Hawks vs. Rim of the World Fighting Scots

While Arroyo Valley's victory against Rim of the World wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hawks had just enough and edged out the Fighting Scots 10-8. With that win, the Hawks brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Jake Jimenez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Arroyo Valley is 7-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-2 otherwise. Jimenez was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024.
