Soccer Game Preview: McLane vs. Los Banos + How To Watch

The McLane Highlanders will venture away from home to face off against the Los Banos Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. McLane will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Los Banos better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if McLane's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when McLane really gets things going. The Highlanders put the hurt on Atwater with a sharp 3-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering McLane's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 77th, while Atwater are ranked 249th).

McLane hit Atwater with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Wilber Ruiz, Rogelio Rendon, and Carlos Gastelum.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Los Banos was not quite Manteca's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Buffaloes by a score of 1-0.

Los Banos now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for McLane, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1-2.
