Basketball Recap: South Lyon Comes Up Short

South Lyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 69-32 loss at the hands of the Mott Corsairs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Corsairs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-55 back in December of 2024.

South Lyon's record now sits at 4-18. As for Mott, their win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-3.

Looking ahead, South Lyon will head out to challenge Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mott, they will face off against Tournament Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
