GlenOak had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They won by a run and slipped past the St. Ignatius Wildcats 4-3. The victory was nothing new for the Golden Eagles as they're now sitting on 16 straight.

Will Douglas looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 17 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, GlenOak's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Quincy Mazeke, who went 1-for-4 with two runs.

GlenOak's victory bumped their record up to 25-4. As for St. Ignatius, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Coming up, GlenOak will head out on the road to square off against Medina at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Ignatius does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
