Basketball Game Preview: South Haven Christian vs. Christian Community Colts

South Haven Christian will venture away from home to take on the Christian Community Colts at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Christian Community took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on South Haven Christian, who comes in off a win.

South Haven Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Temple Baptist Academy on Saturday. South Haven Christian put the hurt on Temple Baptist Academy with a sharp 65-40 win.

Meanwhile, Christian Community played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Jo Byrns, falling 69-43. The Colts were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-18.

South Haven Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for Christian Community, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.

South Haven Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Christian Community in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 55-50 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Haven Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
