Baseball Recap: Grace Christian Comes Up Short

Grace Christian lost against Newton County Academy back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Grace Christian came up short against Newton County Academy, falling 21-1. The loss leaves the Eagles still looking for their first win of the season.

Grace Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Newton County Academy, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian will challenge Calhoun Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calhoun Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something Grace Christian will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Newton County Academy, they will square off against Laurel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
