Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Galva). They walked away with a 62-51 victory over the Biggsville West Central Heat on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Heat back in December of 2024, they had to take a 64-43 loss.

Biggsville West Central's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Addie Seitz, who posted 16 points, and Addison Burrell, who had ten points. The dominant performance gave Burrell a new career-high in points.

Galva's win bumped their record up to 5-21. As for Biggsville West Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-20.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Galva will venture away from home to challenge Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Galva surely won't give up without a fight. As for Biggsville West Central, they are taking a road trip to square off against Brimfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
