Volleyball Recap: Washington Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thunderbird, Washington was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Moon Valley Rockets by a score of 2-0.

Ben Marquez paced Washington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Marquez got some help from Muzzammil San and his 15 assists. San was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Moon Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Washington has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Gilbert Classical Academy on the 28th. As for Moon Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Combs on the 28th.
