Basketball Recap: Piedmont Community Charter Takes a Loss

Piedmont Community Charter lost against Cherryville back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots fell 55-48 to the Cherryville Ironmen.

Piedmont Community Charter's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Cherryville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Piedmont Community Charter will head out to take on Christ the King at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cherryville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against East Gaston at 6:00 p.m. Cherryville is facing East Gaston at the right time seeing as East Gaston is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
