Basketball Recap: Rock Hills Comes Up Short

Rock Hills lost against Lincoln back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rock Hills Grizzlies fell to the Lincoln Leopards 44-39.

Loss or not, Rock Hills got some senior leadership from Cooper McDill and Eli Vance. McDill posted 11 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds, while Vance earned four points and five steals. Those five steals gave Vance a new career-high.

Rock Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Rock Hills will venture away from home to take on Thunder Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. As for Lincoln, they have already played their next contest, a 58-39 loss against Canton-Galva on the 17th.
