West Jordan is 1-9 against Hunter since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The West Jordan Jaguars will host the Hunter Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
West Jordan is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Kearns on Friday as West Jordan made off with a 67-41 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Jaguars had established a 22 point advantage.

It was another big night for Marlee Reupena, who went 13 of 24 on her way to 30 points along with eight steals and seven boards. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Giselle Muffett was another key player, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
West Jordan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Hunter didn't have too much trouble with Granger on Friday as they won 47-31.
Hunter found their leader in sophomore Grace Gallagher, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. Gallagher has become a key player for Hunter: the team is 3-1 when she posts at least eight rebounds, but 3-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Mamakoula Tuitupou-Kutu, who posted six points in addition to five boards and three steals.
West Jordan has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Hunter, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: West Jordan has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Hunter struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
West Jordan strolled past Hunter in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 62-48. Will West Jordan repeat their success, or does Hunter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
