Football Game Preview: Kimball/White Lake Wildkats vs. Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds

Kimball/White Lake is 1-6 against Wolsey-Wessington since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wildkats are taking a road trip to face off against the Warbirds at 7:00 p.m. Kimball/White Lake will be strutting in after a victory while Wolsey-Wessington will be coming in after a loss.

Kimball/White Lake will bounce into Friday's game after beating Gregory, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Wildkats simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Gorillas 50-20. The result was nothing new for the Wildkats, who have now won three contests by 30 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Wolsey-Wessington had to suffer through a 66-16 loss at the hands of Parkston. The Warbirds have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Wolsey-Wessington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Kimball/White Lake, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Kimball/White Lake couldn't quite finish off Wolsey-Wessington in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 and fell 22-20. Can the Wildkats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
