Softball Recap: Southside Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Southside was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 19-0 to the Pamlico County Hurricanes. The Seahawks haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Southside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Pamlico County, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hurricanes beat Southside by a score of 9-0 on Friday.
