After a string of 11 wins, Portsmouth Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost to the Norfolk Academy Bulldogs at home by a 63-48 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 53-19 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Portsmouth Christian's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5. As for Norfolk Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.
