With a playoff win on the line, Pacific Ridge rose to the challenge on Thursday. They came out on top against the Chula Vista Spartans by a score of 46-38. The win was familiar territory for the Firebirds, who have now won five games in a row.

Pacific Ridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Besio, who made all 5 shots he took racking up 14 points. That's the most points Besio has posted since back in November of 2024. Gavin Fletcher was another key player, as he made all 5 shots he took for 13 points.

Pacific Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 28-2. As for Chula Vista, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 23-7.

Pacific Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 65-48 win against Saddleback on the 4th. Chula Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
