Baseball Recap: St. Francis Victorious

While St. Francis's win against Hollister wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. St. Francis sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over Hollister on Tuesday. The Sharks haven't had any issues with the Haybalers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Mason Borrego was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Javier Fonseca also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

St. Francis' record is now 6-3. As for Hollister, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

St. Francis will have a chance to go back-to-back against Hollister: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
