Soccer Game Preview: Arvada vs. Arrupe Jesuit

Arvada is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will challenge the Arrupe Jesuit Generals at 6:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Arvada fell victim to Wheat Ridge and their airtight defense last Thursday. They came up short against the Farmers, falling 10-0. Arvada have struggled against Wheat Ridge recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Arrupe Jesuit, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They won by a goal and slipped past KIPP Denver Collegiate 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Arrupe Jesuit were the better team in the second half.

Arvada now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
