Basketball Recap: Penelope Comes Up Short

Penelope lost to Coolidge back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolverines were outmatched by the Yellowjackets and fell 62-18. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Penelope's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Coolidge, they pushed their record up to 17-16 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Penelope will challenge rival Mount Calm at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Coolidge is set to face off against their familiar foe Neches at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
