Baseball Recap: Jacksonville Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jacksonville can now relate to. They lost 13-0 to the Scottsboro Wildcats on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Golden Eagles haven't been shut out since back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Jacksonville and nudges their season record down to 20-21. As for Scottsboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-16 record this season.

While Jacksonville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
