Marquez is 4-0 against Sotomayor since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Marquez Gladiators will venture away from home to take on the Sotomayor Wolves at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Marquez beat Maywood CES 3-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sotomayor). They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over Maywood Academy on Thursday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Wolves were the better team in the second half.

Marquez's record now sits at 8-5-6. As for Sotomayor, their record now sits at 2-10-1.

Everything went Marquez's way against Sotomayor in their previous meeting last Monday, as Marquez made off with a 7-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marquez since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
