Baseball Recap: Moses Brown Quakers vs. Mt. Hope Huskies
There's no place like home for Moses Brown, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Sunday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Mt. Hope Huskies on Monday. The Quakers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.
Will Haggerty made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). Moses Brown is 4-2 when Haggerty allows two or fewer earned runs, but 4-10 otherwise. Haggerty was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, David Murphy was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Dustin Boudreau was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.
