Football Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short at Home Against Greenon

Shawnee unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Greenon Knights on Friday, falling 34-14. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Although Shawnee took the loss, they still got scores from Eric Walters and Jorden (JoJo) Oriebo.

Coming up, Shawnee will host Brookville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenon, they are taking a road trip to square off against Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
