Basketball Game Preview: Oakland-Craig Knights vs. North Bend Central Tigers

The Oakland-Craig Knights will head out to challenge the North Bend Central Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oakland-Craig is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

On Tuesday, Oakland-Craig took their contest with ease, bagging a 50-11 victory over Tekamah-Herman. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Bend Central posted their closest win since December 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-53 victory over Scotus. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Oakland-Craig's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for North Bend Central, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Oakland-Craig might still be hurting after the 55-29 defeat they got from North Bend Central when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Thankfully for Oakland-Craig, Kaitlyn Emanuel (who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
