After a string of ten wins, Mountain House's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Ceres Bulldogs by a score of 8-7. Mountain House was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ceres apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Monday.

Bryson Seng made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. Jacob Johnson was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

On Ceres' side, Kyan Bowen was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Maines, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Mountain House's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-9. As for Ceres, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.
